CBF in the Community

Join the fun at CBF's booth for Columbia's International Day on Sat. July 24. For additional information, contact us. Let's make this a fun time of sharing within our community.

Happenings at CBF:

You are invited to attend worship on July 25 at 10:00 a.m. in room 200. Our guest preacher is Dr. David Lee, Executive Director at BCMD and an interim pastor. His sermon title is "By Way of the Wilderness," and the scripture reference is Exodus 13:17-22.

Blood Mobile Sun. 25 July

There will be a Red Cross Bloodmobile in the parking are of The Meeting House. Donations of blood are encouraged. No appointment necessary. Here are steps to get ready for your donation. Please bring a list of any medications you are taking.

Support CBF As You Shop Via E-Scrip

Did you know you can support CBF while making many of your regular purchases? That's what the E-Scrip program is about. All you need to do is to gather the discount cards from stores at which you regularly shop, register the numbers from those cards on the E-Scrip web site and Ta-Dah--- you are now contributing a small percentage of your purchase amount to the Columbia Baptist Fellowship. A page on how to do register with E-Scrip contains detailed instructions. Happy Shopping!!

What is Columbia Baptist Fellowship (CBF)?

CBF is difficult to put into words, for we have always been a congregation more controlled by spirit than structure.  We are a “Fellowship,” with all that this word implies about people and their relationships with each other and with God, not a “Church,” with all that this word implies about buildings and the maintenance of institutions. CBF is about people in Christ and Christ in people. That is why the best profile of our congregation is a silhouette of people holding hands.

Listen to what the people say about who we are:  “It’s a place where I’m accepted as I am…It has become my family; it feels like home away from home…There’s struggle and growth that’s honest…I’ve discovered Christ in others here…It’s innovative, yet traditional…I feel like what I contribute makes a difference…The worship and Bible study are relevant to my life…I haven’t found all the answers here, but I have found a new depth to my faith.”

Wednesday Night Family Night at CBF Come out and worship God with us.

At CBF we seek to improve the means by which we seek to communicate Gods love to His people. If you wish to email suggestion or comment to our church, please check out our Pastor-Church Relations web page.

Inclement Weather Policy: Please call our CBF phone number 410-730-2026 within 2 hours of any scheduled service or activity to hear a recorded message as to whether we have cancelled a service or activity due to inclement weather.
