Pastor-Church Relations Committee

The PCRC is required by our bylaws to meet at least once every other year. The next PCRC meeting is set for Thursday 17 September 2009

As we at CBF continue striving to become better disciples of Jesus Christ, we encourage participation of our congregation to provide feedback regarding our service to our local community. To this end the Bylaws of CBF provided for a Pastor-Church Relations Committee. The Pastor-Church Relations Committee is established via directive in the Bylaws of CBF (Section 5.2 page 8) to:

"support the Pastor(s) [ed -ML] in carrying out of his/her Ministry; assist, when necessary, in a review of that Ministry; relay input from the congregation about perceptions of performance; and share in all aspects of the Ministry." ---Section 5.2.3

Members of the PCRC, as it is abbreviated, include the ministerial staff, the Moderator, the Chairperson of the Deacons, the Chairperson of Church Administration and two other representatives of the congregation. ---Section 5.2.1

To facilitate this communication, this email address may be used to send messages regarding CBF ministry and/or ministry operations may be sent to a single congregational member of the PCRC for inclusion in committee agenda/discussions. The communication is confidential unless the sender expressly states otherwise. This is in addition to the communication methods of direct Pastor email, Sunday bulletin paper submissions and direct conversation.

Columbia Baptist Fellowship strives to be a God-centered, Christ-focused church. We encourage the participation of others to help make this goal a reality.
