Revival!!
Revival is Coming!
Rev. John Burns will be visiting CBF in November 16th to help revive and renew us. Rev. Burns has recently published the book Modeling Mary about improving one's discipleship using Mary Mother of Jesus as a Biblical example. Groups to study this message are forming now. Please contact Pastor Jordan if you are interested in obtaining a copy of this "not only helpful but very thought provoking" book (Rev Jean Robinson-Casey from Judson Press site).

Coming Soon...30 Days to an Extraordinary Marriage

CBF and St. John's Catholic (Columbia) present 30 Days to an Extraordinary Marriage. You may be just one month away from the best marriage you could ever imagine. Simple empirically supported practices will deepen your intimacy and strengthen your relationship. Invest one evening building habits to increase love and happiness.

Date: Sunday, November 9th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at TMH. The workshop is free but please register with Rev. Debbie McCustion-Kahl (410-730-2026).

BYLAWS INFORMATION: CBF is reviewing its Bylaws. A printout of the proposed changes to the Bylaws was made available at the 7 September 2008 business meeting. Those proposed changes are available for review in this draft document presented at that church business meeting.

What is Columbia Baptist Fellowship (CBF)?

CBF is difficult to put into words, for we have always been a congregation more controlled by spirit than structure.  We are a “Fellowship,” with all that this word implies about people and their relationships with each other and with God, not a “Church,” with all that this word implies about buildings and the maintenance of institutions. CBF is about people in Christ and Christ in people. That is why the best profile of our congregation is a silhouette of people holding hands.

Listen to what the people say about who we are:  “It’s a place where I’m accepted as I am…It has become my family; it feels like home away from home…There’s struggle and growth that’s honest…I’ve discovered Christ in others here…It’s innovative, yet traditional…I feel like what I contribute makes a difference…The worship and Bible study are relevant to my life…I haven’t found all the answers here, but I have found a new depth to my faith.”

Wednesday Night Family Night at CBF Come out and worship God with us.

At CBF we seek to improve the means by which we seek to communicate Gods love to His people. If you wish to email suggestion or comment to our church, please check out our Pastor-Church Relations web page.

Inclement Weather Policy: Please call our CBF phone number 410-730-2026 within 2 hours of any scheduled service or activity to hear a recorded message as to whether we have cancelled a service or activity due to inclement weather.
